Microcopy for two apps, two tones

Five writing challenges for two different fictional apps, each one kept to a consistent tone of voice from error to success state.

This is a structured exercise from the Harisenin UI/UX & PM bootcamp (Basic Mission 5) — both apps and their screens are given by the program. Shown here as evidence of UX writing in Bahasa Indonesia; the copy below is kept in its original language since that's the actual deliverable.

"Coba periksa kembali dan pastikan semuanya sudah benar, ya!"
"Data Anda sepenuhnya terenkripsi."

01Context

The brief: write UI microcopy — errors, confirmations, success states, notifications — for two different apps, each with its own tone. App 1 is a casual, warm-toned event-vendor booking app. App 2, "Moniverse," is a formal, reassurance-first e-wallet linking app.

02App 1 — warm & casual

03App 2 — formal & reassuring (Moniverse)

04The contrast, side by side

App 1 speaks with "kamu," exclamation marks, and playful urgency ("Booking Sekarang, Biar Nggak Kehabisan!"). App 2 speaks with "Anda," leads with security and reassurance language ("Data Anda sepenuhnya terenkripsi"), and keeps an even, professional register throughout — even its failure states offer a calm next step rather than an exclamation.

05What this demonstrates

Holding two distinct, consistent voices across error states, confirmations, and notifications — the same writing discipline that keeps a real product's copy from reading like it was written by two different people.
